The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival
The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival is in it’s 48
th season, and is the oldest, free, professional, independently operating Shakespeare Festival in North America.
Free performances are held at the C. Douglas Ramey Amphitheatre in Central Park, located in the historic Old Louisville neighborhood at 4
th & Magnolia and starts at 8:00 p.m. You can bring food and non-alcoholic beverages, chairs and blankets to the shows, and there are concessions and professional childcare available. For the complete list of shows and a schedule of performances, go to

Golf Scramble
1+1=U, Inc will be having a Summer Golf Scramble to raise funds for
their program which services under-severed youth. Golf Scramble will be
held at the Glenmary Country Club on Thursday, July 24th. Registration

Kynslee White’s Softball Tournament to Fight Fumarase Deficiency
A Men’s One-Pitch Double Elimination Softball Tournament is set for
August 9th at St. Mary's Catholic Church to benefit Kynslee White’s Fight Against Fumarase Deficiency Fund. Fumarase Deficiency is an enzyme irregularity that causes severe mental retardation, epileptic seizures, and other defects that leave many children helpless and unable to take care of themselves.
