Billboard Music Awards: Nominated 11 times, Taylor Swift and her 3.7 million-selling "Red" dominated the 2013 Billboard Music Awards last night, taking home eight trophies as Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" swept four major song categories and Rihanna ruled R&B. Justin Bieber won the Milestone Award (got booed) and Top Male Artist.
More Billboard: Kid Rock seemed drunk and called out the performers for lip-synching. Miguel performed his song “Adorn,” and seemed to kick a fan when he jumped over the crowd during his performance. It looked like he landed part of his body on one girl, who walked away, and kicked another girl, who held her head low....
Justin Bieber will have to pay the bill for his monkey's two-month stay at a Munich animal shelter. A spokesman for the German customs office says the cost of care, food and vet visits for capuchin monkey is several thousand dollars. Mally is now officially the property of the German state and has been moved to a secret location to protect him from paparazzi photographers and fans wanting to adopt him. Biebs let the deadline pass on Friday to collect the monkey impounded back in March when he jetted into Europe for his tour without the correct paperwork.
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have called it quits again. A source claims they broke up Saturday, after more than three years of dating. Although those close to the couple believe this will be just a temporary split, K. Stew is "heartbroken" and "so sad" over the break-up. "They are going to stay living at Kristen's house because of the dogs," the source continued. "It's not fully over or he would have moved out." The pair hasn't been spotted together publicly since they landed at LAX on May 8th.
Beyoncé pregnancy rumors went into overdrive last week when she was forced to cancel a show due to "exhaustion." Now, many major outlets claim the baby buzz is true, saying multiple sources have confirmed that Bey has a bun in the oven. So far she Jay-Z have not made any announcement. The gossip started when Beyonce appeared to be covering up a baby bump at the Met Gala in NYC last week and recently on her world tour. She also told Good Morning America that she would like more children. "I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister. At some point, when it's supposed to happen."
Star Trek Into Darkness topped the box office charts in its opening weekend, but "only" made $84.1 million domestically—well under the $100 million many had expected. Still, it zapped another franchise juggernaut, Iron Man 3, into No. 2 with $35.2 million, followed by The Great Gatsby at $23.4 million.
