Groom Gets Busted With a Hooker On His Honeymoon.
An Illinois man honeymooning with his new wife in an Orlando-area resort picked the worst possible time to leave her in the room so he could go meet up with a prostitute. 21-year-old Mohammed Ahmed was among 92 people snared in an undercover prostitution investigation by the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The Backpage.com ad Ahmed was responding to was planted there by an undercover deputy as part of the four-day operation. When Ahmed failed to return to the Omni Hotel in Champions Gate, his bride phoned the Sheriff's Office to report him missing — only to be informed that he was in a jail cell having been booked on charges of soliciting prostitution and possession of marijuana. The Polk County sting netted 12 pimps, 39 alleged prostitutes, and 39 suspected johns in all, including a 45-year-old youth minister who believed he was soliciting the services of a 14-year-old girl.

Hey! I posted a few weeks ago about tag, and everyone seemed pretty interested. Last time we met at Tom Sawyer, and so I wanted to meet at Cherokee for everyone who can't make it out there. My husband and I wanted to try to make this bi-monthly at one park or another! We're meeting this Saturday at 2p in the Northwest Section -- there is a parking lot right by the multipurpose fields (next to the drinking fountain) right off of the Christen Foundain drive -- check out the 2nd page of this map to help: Map for Cherokee Park Let me know if you're coming! I will bring some snacks.

Being a politician is no easy gig—just ask 4-year-old Dorset, Minnesota mayor Robert "Bobby" Tufts. He was named mayor at the town’s “Taste of Dorset” festival after would-be candidates who live in and around Dorset paid the $1 ballot charge to throw their names into a hat. It’s a seasonal town that has only 26 residents and 14 businesses, and they elect a new mayor every year from a pool of campaigning candidates who in the past have included chickens and cats. According to Bobby’s mom, 34-year-old Emma Tufts, the toddler ran a two-month campaign. He was so excited and told everyone at daycare that he was going to be mayor forever.”
